Strix: Our role in the Platinum Jubilee
Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee was cause for celebration across the country, Commonwealth, and world and Strix were honoured to be able to play a role in this memorable occasion.
To mark 70 glorious years, Her Majesty The Queen: The Official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album – the only official book published for the Platinum Jubilee Pageant – was launched on Sunday 5th June 2022.
Strix is one of only a select number of companies in the UK invited to be included in this fully illustrated coffee-table book, showcasing a range of aligned organizations, all selected for their transformational contribution across the spheres of culture, society, technology and business.
We were specially selected for inclusion because of our rich history, a record of product innovation and ongoing commitment to sustainability, as well as being the past recipient of four Queen’s Awards for Enterprise for our record in international trade and Innovation.
We were thrilled to attend the private book launch and evening gala, held in the elegant surroundings of Claridge’s, in central London on 5 June, for more than 450 specially invited special guests, royal corresponds and media.
We welcomed many visitors to our stand and it was great to see such interest in our Visione Induction Hob Top Kettle and Aqua Optima Aurora products, which help to reduce energy, water, and WEE waste. We even gave away a limited edition Jubilee engraved LAICA water filtration bottles and were delighted to see them in the hands of some of the VIP guests – including Tom Parker Bowles who made a special stop our stand to find out more about the Auora and sign our copy of The Official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album
The hardback book, written by royal authors Robert Jobson and Katie Nicholl, with contributions from Tom Parker Bowles, charts the trials and triumphs of The Queen’s 70 year reign and includes more than 250 photographs Her Majesty The Queen: The Official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album is available now RRP £49.9 and can be purchased online and in all good book retailers.
